I'm on Disc 2. And so far, the most romantic thing that Squall has said to Rinoa is, "Everybody in the group wants you to come along, so you might as well." Wow… that's hot. They are off to a rip-roaring start. I can feel the passion just burning between them.

I'm not saying that every Final Fantasy game, has to have a romance in it. But when it's touted on the box, along with a picture of them making-out on the front cover. I was looking for a little more Robin Hood, and a lot less Penguin on an Ice Berg. I claim false advertising. There is way too much falling in love on the title screen than there is in this game.

You know, Link actually gets MORE action then anyone in video game history. GTA my ass. Please… that loser has to pay for sex. Link has women throwing their panties at him left and right. Yeah well, that's not what's going on here.

We're at the point in the game where Squall basically tells Rinoa, "You don't annoy me as much as you normally do". Awww, that is so sweet. I'm more than sure she'll want to sleep with you after a line like that?

Squall get a promotion for saving the school, right. All his friends set up this evening out with a "mini game" of music. Rinoa gets all dressed up in this cute little sparkly mini dress. They go on the date. Not even 20 minutes into it, Squall, instead of sitting there trying to get into it. He tells her, "Why are you guys doing all this, it's stupid… are we done here? Can I go back to the ship now?"

She runs off crying, and then Squall is all, "Oh crap".

Good job.

(You can save the school and everyone in it, from an incoming missile attack. But you can't manage not to put your foot in your mouth, to save the evening out.)

I love the analogy to Link and GTA xD
I really enjoy reading what other player's experience is like when playing my favourite games. Keep up the blogging!
